Before and after trellising the hoophouse tomatoes

Goings on at Iroquois Ave FarmThis week is going to be much like last week. I still have about half the tomatoes in the hoophouse and all the field tomatoes to trellis - it's a very tedious and time consuming task. It's important to trellis though to improve airflow to combat diseases, especially in our hot, humid climate! With all the wonderful rain we received over the last week the weeds have come back with a vengeance, so when I'm not trellising I'll be weeding. I'm definitely not complaining though, that rain was much needed! Now that my fall transplants are started I'm also going to slowly start prepping the fall production beds, so by the time time the transplants are ready I can just pop them in the ground.RecipesSugar Snap Pea and Strawberry Salad with Garlic Scape Yogurt DressingAvocado-Tarragon DressingGreen Goddess Tuna SaladSwiss Chard with Green Garlic and Prosciutto
